Shires Hollow Mouth Race Snaffle

The Shires Hollow Mouth Race Snaffle is a single jointed snaffle bit with a hollow mouthpiece. The hollow mouthpiece is significantly lighter than a solid mouthpiece and therefore more readily accepted. With an 18mm mouthpiece thickness, this bit is mild and can benefit horses with larger tongues as it has a greater contact area. The loose rings can help to prevent the horse from leaning on the bit. The large bit rings prevent the bit from being pulled through the mouth.
