Shires Hollow Mouth Loose Ring Snaffle Bit

The Shires Hollow Mouth Loose Ring Snaffle Bit is a single jointed snaffle bit. The hollow mouth is significantly lighter than a solid mouthpiece and therefore more readily accepted. With an 18mm mouthpiece thickness, this bit is mild and can benefit horses with larger tongues as it has a greater contact area. The loose rings can help to prevent the horse from leaning on the bit while the single joint allows the rider to put more definite and precise pressure on either side of the bit.Bit ring measurement: 65mm
