Shires Brass Alloy Loose Ring Training Bit

The Shires Brass Alloy Loose Ring Training Bit is a soft, mild action bit ideal for young horses. It's available in two mouthpiece thicknesses: a thinner 14mm mouthpiece would best-suit horses with smaller mouths and a thicker 18mm mouthpiece which is more comfortable for horses with a larger tongue or a more sensitive mouth. The brass alloy material is copper which is alloyed with a harder metal to produce warm, durable bits which aid salivation and are more palatable than stainless steel to encourage contact and acceptance.
